Robyn & Brandon

Good morning fellow drinkers of coffee!  I’ve had TWO cups already!  Life is good!  So…I really, really, really wanted to do an engagement session at these  cool railroad tresses here in town but was having a hard time convincing anyone of my wonderful idea.  I would mention it and then there would be silence.  I don’t know why?  Pictures at Laguna Beach or  railroad trusses in Victorville?  Anyway, I gave Robyn and Brandon a call to see if they would be interested in trying it out and as luck would have it, they live about 1/4 mile from the very location that I’ve been drooling about.  Can you believe it!  I’m still in shock.  The Universe was just waiting for us to make this happen.  Perfect!  I went ahead and Frebreezed the car down and wrangled them into the back seat.  Brandon did try to resist by offering to follow in his own car but how could I use them as my captives if they were captive?  Check out the slide show here and the  gallery of images are here.

The Jeffersons

All is well in the Reed household.  I finished my 10+ loads of laundry and we are set for underwear for the whole week!   Of course, this has nothing to do with the Jeffersons.  I Photographed Will and Allison back in January and was happy to photograph their whole family this past week.   We had a blast.  Laughing non-stop.  I know you’re probably tired of me saying how wonderful my clients are but I just can’t help it!  I have the best clients.  Always a pleasure to photograph.

The Gamboa Family

I am pretty late in posting these images.  I wish that I could say that I’ve been laying around watching Judge Judy and eating bananas with chocolate syrup, but no.  I’ve been doing some assignments for the newspaper, some website work and a few more portrait  sessions.  I did get around to a few loads of laundry but nothing that has made a dent on “Mount Everest” that is overtaking the laundry room.  We are running on one pair of clean underwear at time.  Nothing like living in the present and not worrying where your next pair of clean chonies are going to come from.  But that may be TMI.  Anyhoo, I picked out a few of my favorites from our session.

Our First High Desert Wedding Photog Shoot

Yes, we now have a High Desert Wedding Photographers group on Facebook.  Every since the bridal show in January, our small group of photographers have been getting together once a month or so to gab and talk wedding stuff until we just can’t stand it anymore!  Love it!  Our latest soiree, involved lots of college students and a late night painting with light session at Emma Jean’s Holland Burger Cafe on Rt 66.  You know I had to corrupt them with my painting with light portraits!  I think I’ve lured a few others to the dark side.
