Irene & Eugene (and Moose)

I had a wonderful time with Irene and Eugene.  We started out at Aliso-Wood Wilderness park but since they didn’t allow dogs, we ended our time at a park in Mission Viejo.

Here are just a few before I get myself to bed!

Christina & Charlie

We met up with Christina and Charlie in Santa Barbara to take their engagement images at the Santa Barbara Courthouse.  Christina is my husband’s cousin and this was the first time we had to pleasure of meeting Charlie.  I had such a wonderful time.  I was telling another photographer friend how much fun we had and how much I’m looking forward to shooting their wedding.  See you two soon!  See the slide show here.

I have this thing about the first picture that I take on a shoot.  It’s really just to get me over the hump of starting.  I usually never look through the view finder so it’s a surprise when I see it and the crazy thing is that it is usually always one of my favorite images of the day.   I love, love, love this picture of  Christina and Charlie.

I had to post this one because it’s funny.

Garrett and Itzel

Here’s the story…when I first started in photography, my very first job by myself was Itzel’s Quinceanera.  Saying that I was nervous would be  a huge understatement.  I couldn’t sleep the entire week before!   Since then, I’ve made some progress.  I’ve contained my nervousness to just one day!  Anyway,  when Itzel’s mother gave me a call a few weeks ago to tell  me about Itzel and Garrett, I couldn’t  be any more excited.  We headed on down to Laguna for some nice beach portraits before it started to get cold.  We made it just in time before the weather started to change.  It’s been pretty cool in the desert lately.  Slide Show Here

Anne & Anthony

I met Anne & Anthony last Saturday at the Metro Link station in Claremont.  I’m wondering if there is any place in Claremont that is even a tinsy bit ugly.  I doubt it.  Even the parking garage was nice.  In fact the parking garage was probably my favorite location!  slide show here.

Anosheh & Luis

I met Anosheh and Luis at their wedding venue to have a look about.  It’s always a little nerve racking for me to meet with my clients when I know there will be ample time for me to put my foot in my mouth.  I knew we were going to be fine when Luis pointed out something about the llama poop not smelling too much that particular day.  A natural ice breaker, llama poop is.  We went on to discuss that the venue has 18 restrooms.  I suggested that we chart them out and on the day of the wedding we could each use a different restroom with the goal of using all eighteen.   It could be fun but we might have some other priorities that day!  We started shooting at Rancho Los Lomas and ended at downtown Orange.  I had a great time and was so happy to get to know Anosheh and Luis.  They are such wonderful, down to earth people that one can discuss llama poop with.  Here are a few of my favorites.  You can see the slide show here.
